Weekly PGA Tour Tips

Golf Returns in Europe

Antoin Rozner - 33/1 - 1.5pts each-way

Rickard Karlberg - 40/1 - 1.25pts each-way

Nicolai Hojgaard - 50/1 - 1pt each-way

Gavin Moynihan - 100/1 - 0.75pts each-way

In Europe, golf finally returns at the Austrian Open which was last played in 2018. Former winner, Joost Luiten, is the clear favourite this week but is very short in an event which is more a supersized Challenge Tour affair.

Antoine Rozner looks good for a strong week after a runner-up already this season. The two-time Challenge Tour winner has the look of a rising star and this week slightly below his level.

Rickard Karlberg has gone very well at the Diamond Club at the Austrian Open before and was coming back to form at the end of last season. He looks like another who can easily play well at this level.

Nicolai Hojgaard was a teenage sensation last year and can emulate his older brother, Rasmus, and win on the European Tour. He has a little bit of a raw game, but looks a natural and gone rack up birdies.

Finally, our local favourite, Gavin Moynihan, can go well at a big price this week. He has shot 58 at the local Corballis golf club and looks dialled in with his wedge game. He is comfortable competing at this level and looks overpriced.
